  Skippers are warned to stay to the inside of the cable area marked on the harbor chart. Dockage limited to 14 days with at least 4 days between visits, according to Newport ordinance. Note that cannons are fired from the clubhouse lawn at 8:00 a.m. and sundown, alerting crews to raise and lower the standards of many nations throughout the harbor.
