• Description: Private parties from the mainland have established moorings of convenience here; local tradition has it that they are yours for the taking on a first-come, first-served basis. (There are no guarantees on their condition, and if the owner shows up you will be asked to vacate the mooring.) There are plenty of moorings, except on peak summer weekends.
