• Description:

  Good area to anchor prior to heading down bound to the Valleyfield and Saint Louis Bridges for their first AM openings. Good holding. Bottom - undetermined. Anchor came up clean (no mud or clay) with a few weeds. Had about 16 ft of water; 85 feet of chain and a 66 lb Spade anchor. Disadvantage was a bit exposed - not protected from winds.
