Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 47'
Draft: 5.5'As best as I can tell, the full number needs to be visible to indicate that height (e.g. ALL of "64" visible is 64 ft.). Although this sounds obvious, there are no specific lines to indicate each height. Our air draft is 63.5 feet. The 64 was partly obscured and we tickled each beam of the bridge with our antenna as we went through.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 57'
Draft: 5.5'We have air draft of 63.5' so we planned our day, northbound, to arrive at this bridge at low tide (Belhaven tide chart). The clearance board read 64' at low tide! We just squeaked under.

Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 40'
Draft: 5.0'Mariners please note that for the next few miles the channel markers are intermingled with the AICW markers heading South. So the greens will appear on your right but careful examination will show the greens have yellow triangles denoting that they are red ICW markers.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 43'
Draft: 4.0'Our air draft is 63 plus 10" for antennas. The mast cleared but broke one antenna off. The board said 63.5' There is a reputed height board at mile marker 125, but it has weathered so bad it is not readable.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 45'
Draft: 5.8'Our air draft is 63'6" and we passed under 2 hours before official low tide. The board said a little more than 64'. Our antenna hit the top. We've made it under other bridges at 64' without an issue so boards may be off by a few inches.

Comment by: Hugh, Trekker, on Nov 10, 2017
Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 40'
Draft: 6.0'Bridge is listed as 64' although I have seen an (old?) printed Waterway Guide listing it as 65'. Also spoke to a boater whose digital chart listed it as 65'. Barge was moored in the channel under the bridge restricting the available width to about 1/2 of normal width. Bridge board read 64'2". With 12 degrees of heel induced with a water bag hung from the main halyard which should reduce our height to 62'9 we cleared. Maintenance workers on barge said we would not have cleared at 64' 10".
