| Noteworthy: | There are two free town docks within 100m of each other. On floating (to the NE) and the other fixed (to the SW). Free with no posted time restrictions. At floating Dock (at T head), we had 1.9m of depth but are advised that depth can vary quickly. Exposed to any wake from passing boats. Toilet block nearly with phone for clearing into Canadian customs if required. Nice river walkway with history sign boards if you wish to stretch your legs. And an ice cream shack right by the docks. Town has grocery stores (ValueMart is nearer and the better stocked), department store, Canadian Tire, laundry, etc, and plenty of options for grabbing some fast food. Propane refills also available in town ( Ultramar Filling Station) |
