Storm Update – Park and Overnight Accommodations Closed 

Effective Nov. 13, 2024: To help ensure the safety of visitors and staff, the park and any associated overnight accommodations are closed due to Hurricane Helene and/or Hurricane Milton. The Florida State Parks reservation team will email guests with affected reservations to make alternate arrangements or issue refunds. Dunedin Municipal Marina is closed due to extensive damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Will likely be closed for next 1-2 years. All slips have been compromised by one or more aspects of the damages, which include;

• Complete electrical system submersed in salt water (all pedestals and power supply cabinets)
• Seawall collapse
• Parking lot collapse
• Water main severed
• Pilings raised, pulling areas of docks and finger piers upward
• Hardware, cleat and dock stringer damage

Closed while repairs are made. Dockage and fuel service are anticipated to be unavailable for several months. Starbucks, Provisions, and the Island Tacos food truck are now open.

The Clearwater Harbormaster's Office staff has temporarily relocated to 700 Bayway Blvd., Clearwater. Fuel is unavailable at the Clearwater Beach Marina due to damage from the hurricanes.

The Clearwater Beach Marina docks are undergoing an extensive renovation beginning Oct. 23.

UPDATE on HURRICANE HELENE: WE are planning a SOFT OPEN on November 1st! The surge from the storm was 12′ in the stores. That means the stuff on the 2nd floor got wet along with all our computers! What a mess! We are waiting on the replacement of these computers, credit card machines, printers, etc. to get the store open. We also has a lot of debris blocking the front of the marina! We believe we will have rental boats running, some of the shacks available, and the ships' store open and with the service department closed but boat parts available for purchase. We will NOT have live bait but plenty of artificial lures and baits are hanging on the walls!
