Port Austin is located at the tip of the thumb in Michigan and is the first port in Saginaw Bay when approaching from the south. The town is only a few blocks from the marinas with several restaurants within easy walking distance and The Village Green a public square where the community and its visitors gather for shopping and events such as the Farmers’ Market.
Turnip Rock is a natural wonder of Michigan and definitely a must-see when visiting the area. If you’d like to get up close and personal, you can rent kayaks in town.
