The lovely seaside area of Bay Head marks the northern entrance to (or exit from) Barnegat Bay. Often called “A Country Village by the Sea,” this has been a popular vacation spot since Victorian times and still treasures its culture and heritage. It is a great place to take a break and explore for a few days. (Note that the Bay Head beaches, while not considered private, can be difficult to access.)
