The historic Menominee North Pier Lighthouse, marking the entrance to the international shipping port of Menominee/Marinette Harbor, is within view of the marina and is only 1 mile to the foot of the pier leading out to the lighthouse itself. Along the way is a beautiful sandy beach located at Tourist Park.

The Menominee County Historical Society Heritage Museum is only 6/10 miles from the marina, and the landmark Spies Public Library is right across the street from the marina.
