I agree with the other reviewers that transients are treated as a nuisance. The office staff was not even friendly during our recent stay. It is obvious that where they make their money, through boat rentals, is their priority and definitely NOT cruising sailors. We were given vague docking instructions and no one was there to assist as we came in to a new dock for the first time. They also acted as if requesting a pump-out was a major inconvenience and only through due diligence did we ever receive one. The showers had no water for several hours one day and while that was out of their control, the way the office staff responded to a simple inquiry about when water might be available was with disinterest at the very least verging on disrespect. I would find another marina in this wonderful town if there are any available.

I called and was going to book a dock, take on fuel and have a pump out.
The price quoted on the WG website was $3.25 tax included. They advised the current price was $3.85 incl tax and no discounts.
Decided not to make the visit as I needed 400 gals

    WG Editor Comment:
Marina lisintg states fuel prices change frequently and to call. Waterway Guide confirmed price changed the day after the $3.25 was posted.

They do not cater to transient guests. We docked there on a Thursday night because we had two family members flying into area to stay out on water with us for 3 days. Had great help getting docked during higher winds. Problem was with pump out. They do it only. You cannot. They say they typically do pump outs on Mondays only which means they don’t cater to transient guests. Spent $128.00 to dock, spent $200.00 at the one of their restaurants and requested a pump out in order to leave the next morning. Ladies in store were nice but one of the crew that came into the store told the ladies, “Jesus Christ. We are busy and they will get their pump out when we can get to it”. Then he left on one of their pontoon rentals. We left and went to Diversified Yachts who took great care of our pump out.

Good antenna TV; weak wifi; long floating docks; a lot of rental boat traffic; dinghy (on davit) hit twice (Lady M and a pontoon rental; the pontoon driver barely touched and was apologetic; Lady M gave it a good smack -no apologies; just giggles and shrugs); two restaurants at Marina; $5 pump out on Mondays. A lot of bird guano on the docks. Pleasant office person (Samantha) and good dock help from Gordon. Trey and Casey were great getting us a pumpout and helping us off the dock when departing in strong winds.
