I've had good luck with Safe Harbor in the past. Unfortunately can't say same for these two outfits (Greenport and Stirling). Just after Labor Day - called both on radio (multiple times/channels) no answer. Called them on the phone - dock would not pick up; business office would not pick up. It was 4:30 on a Thursday. They left to go home already?? Went to Mitchell Park Marina - better response; better service; better facility. Probably cheaper too.

We stayed in July 2021. This place was fantastic from beginning to end. Liam and his team really made it so easy from the time i made the reservation to arrival it was a pleasure. I pulled in and was directed to my slip and greeted by dock staff that helped me tie up. It was a fantastic ! Jumped in the pool and cooled off with a cold beer !
Billy's on the Bay had great food & service. 1 mile bike ride into town. They also had free shuttle every hour to get into town. I am looking forward to returning .

Although it is a beautiful facility in one of the most wonderful locations in the Northeast for any kind of boating, my experience there was ruined by Sean Gillagan, the General Manager, and I left after only one season. Jeff and the dock crew could not have been nicer. Unfortunately, Sean’s immaturity as a business person and manager created a adversarial environment between the yard and its primary customers, it’s seasonal boat owners. As I got to know other owners, they all spoke of their own run-ins with Sean, pined for the days when the yard was under Brewer management, and offered that but for the dearth of options on the North Fork, they would not keep their boats at Safe Harbor. In addition to poor communication, and a reputation for over billing, my own bad experience at this yard culminated in my boat being launched, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, without my knowledge and without bottom paint or zincs. Although I would recommend this marina to transients, I would not recommend it to anyone for seasonal docking or winter storage or to have repair work performed.
