As other reviews here I agree 100% with the great service and customer service offered by Heidi and Shawn. Our stay was for 3 nights while riding out a gale. Docks are in great shape with ties to pilings or cleats on the pilings. We didn't have fender boards that would make it easier, but Heidi and Shawn quickly set us up. Heidi also walked the dock frequently to check that everything was okay during the really high tide from the SE gale. Offered her car to go provision, and had an extension cord to that we could reach to get two 30amp lines to the boat. Felt like I should only go 4 stars since not all amenities are in place yet, but the customer service we experienced overcame that. We look forward to a stop again next year!

This marina is perfect if wanting deep water which we do. Other marinas are shallow in comparison and many sit on the bottom at low tide. Heidi will be your host and she is welcoming, accommodating and friendly. She'll offer you her vehicle if you'd like to provision because she is on the other side of the bay away from the shops. It didn't bother us as we have scooters. The offer was nice. The location clean but under renovation so a shower off the boat is a bit of a walk to the RV park next door. There are washrooms and a small store in the office. It is across the street from a Marine Supply and mechanic of need be. Free Laundry on site. Lastly, it is the cheapest location in Carrabelle for fuel - by a lot. Easy in and out for this marina. As you come in the river the first marina on your Port side. We would have liked to stay longer but just couldn't. I had given 5 stars if shower onsite but other than that nothing but positive.

Thank you Pirates Covd and Heidi!

This is a great overnight stop before your crossing. And if you end up needing to stay longer, Heidi, the mgr/dock master, is super helpful and wrangles the needed locals to help. Deducted a star b/c of partial amenities, ie no shower, single 30 amp, but this facility is newly reopened and they are working on upgrades. Easy access and very invested in looper community.
