Excellent slips and very accomdating and great staff - Warren & George. These guys really look out for you. All marine services are a walk or phone call away. Deep 14' slips. The Deadrise restaurant on premises is superb! Free sanitation services and free washer and dryer. Our Shannon 50' fit very well at the fuel dock with 5 ft to spare. Great fuel prices. The best marina in the entire area.

The crew there are very helpful within what they have available to them. There is a big plan for renovation but that is a few years off.
The fuel dock has a floating section of about 20' and is a bit of a challenge as for a big boat (we're 46) and to make it a bigger challenge there is a pier at the end we had to nose up too. But fuel was cheap, crew was helpful.
If you are anchored out, there is an old boat ramp next door that we used with a dumpster in the parking lot.

Cheap fuel and friendly helpful staff.

But that fuel dock is TINY. Our 43' catamaran seemed to be about all it could handle. I would not take a big boat in there. And I would be very careful about docking with any weather complications.

This review is specifically for the fuel dock. We did not stay at the marina.

We had to divert from our delivery route because of weather off Hatteras. In the midst of the Covid lockdown, George accommodated us, got us fueled up, and gave us a berth for three nights to wait for a favorable weather window. Thank you George - much appreciated!

Best deal in the Newport Hampton Roads area you will find. We stayed for a month. Food Lion grocery store not far away. But the best part is being able to hang out at Fort Monroe. Walking around and exploring this historic fort was a total blast. We will always stop here on our way North.
