There is very limited room for transients here, mostly a Charter Fishing marina. Not much at the marina, no pump-out or laundry, but water and Diesel. No cleats, all ties are to poles. Power was a little dicey and went out a few times, switched to another pole and didn't have an issue. Facilities were ok, good but not great. We were there two weeks before Memorial day and were stranded for a week due to weather, not much else to do, even with electric bikes. Marina has a clothing store and bar with entertainment and some minor provisioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful however. This is likely the best of the marinas as the others closer to town appear to only cater to charters. Dinner at Sonny's was a very good. Note; do not come in the ferry channel, very narrow, we went aground at R12a and polished our props, lots of ferry traffic and not much room to pass.

Staff was accommodating. Slips/Docks in fair shape. Power was good. Water not functional and faucet handles rusted away. Other slips did have functional water. Men's shower facility was non-functional and appeared to be in some state of repair. Ladies shower facility was fair. (one toilet non-functional). Although the marina does not appear to cater to transient boaters (which is unfortunate since there is a museum, restaurants, and close proximity to beach access), we would stay there again due to the good people.
