The harbor sells gasoline, no diesel. Transients are docked on the west part of the wall in the vicinity of the fuel dock while seasonal boats are docked on the east side of the wall. The total number of transient boats on the wall is about six. Facilities are limited to a single restroom and single shower. The harbor is protected from all cardinal directions except north. The village of Big Bay is located about one mile via a road with no sidewalk, but the motorists seem aware and courteous. A small sandy beach and historical site is located within a short walk of the marina. The harbor and vicinity are very pleasant, I stayed two nights, August 2 and August 3, 2023.

Check out the USACE soundings in the Waterway Guide or Aqua Map. Hug the starboard breakwater to avoid the shoaling. We saw depths of 5' " when entering the harbor. The harbor hosts said the depth in front of the gas dock was 4'. Transient docking is along the wall after the gas dock. Seasonal moorage has the rest of the wall. The harbor hosts are great!! The marina office is being remodeled. Restrooms and shower were very clean. A good place to spend the night or to get out of rough water.
