It is a place to spend the night, and grab a bite to eat, and get fuel. We had a east breeze when we were there, and there was a strong smell from the fish processing plant. The owner was very nice, and even gave us his cell number when our breaker for the pedestal tripped, in case we had any more issues. We were tied up to the fuel dock for the night with 3 other boats {the limit} We did not shower here.

We stayed here for one night November 25, 2023. We needed fuel and they had diesel at a premium price $5.50 a gallon but we did receive a BoatUS discount which took off about $40 from the bill. We actually stayed tied up for the night at the fuel dock which was convenient. We enjoyed dinner at the crazy crab restaurant. Food was good. The staff was both pleasant and helpful.

Crazy Crab Marina consists of finger docks and a face dock in front of the restaurant which is very popular and a few days ago on a Sunday had people still lined up at 7:30 for seating. One might consider this a restaurant which also has docking. Restrooms are primitive with concrete floor throughout including the showers, and walls of concrete block. There were no hooks for clothing and other than the toilet and tank and a foot long shelf, there was nowhere to put things. Restroom floors needed sweeping and supplies were low or used up. Charles Williams, the owner, is a personable fellow who has had an interesting career with the menhaden processing industry before the restaurant, and you will probably meet him when you arrive, although the restaurant and office are open only Friday through Sunday. Other times docking is on the honor system. Reedville's historic district is interesting with the architecture and there is a very nice museum. My rating is a mix of positive for the people, negative for the facilities, and positive for the town.

Took the dinghy in for dinner on the back porch. Lovely views and great food. Very friendly staff.

We were the only boat there Sunday, 9-24-2017. It may have been better staffed and cared for in the height of the season, or maybe they just had an off day. I'd probably rate it 3 or 4 stars if not for the disgusting filthiness. PROs: a very good restaurant; a good location where you can walk a lovely, historic street; great water pressure in shower. CONs: There was no one to catch a line coming in. The dock was so thick with seagull droppings it would have been a safety hazard in damp weather. The baths were not coded or keyed, so were open to the public at large. Baths were cramped, facing west, miserably hot, with no air conditioning. There was no bench or shelf to hold your toiletries or clean clothes, and the toilet seat couldn't be used because it was splattered with excrement. My wife said the electrical outlet didn't work. After taking a shower there, I felt like I needed one.

This "old-style" marina - actually a bulkhead and some slips adjacent to it's restaurant - is distinguished by the extraordinary courtesy and helpfulness of the staff and owner. They are truly extraordinary.
Moreover, the adjacent restaurant serves really good "old-fashioned" food. The marina/restaurant is one of our favorite places on the Bay
