This is a very lovely marina that we stayed at for three days. The docks are very well maintained and the grounds are lovely. It is peaceful and relaxing, and very pet friendly. Very clean restrooms and showers are at the end of the transit dock. There is a pair of washers and dryers on the open dock (under cover, but in the open), but no folding table or area to manage clothes while washing. The restaurant onsite has a wonderful menu, both indoor and outdoor dining, and a very social bar. The transit boaters on the dock were very friendly and we all enjoyed an impromptu social gather on the dock. From this marina, it is less than a mile to Boldt Castle and maybe a mile to Alexandria Bay across the river, which we easily reached with our dinghy. There is nothing on the marina side of the river in the way of local stores.

Despite well kept grounds and a nice setting, the marina feels neglected. No radio response or docking help upon arrival, no staffed on-site office and a general feeling of abandonment.

Bathrooms and showers were generally clean but laundry was outdoors and rusted so really unusable.

Despite being seemingly tucked away there were significant wakes from the main channel of the St Lawrence. Churning up significant mud (3.5 ft draft) was also common in the fairway and the slip.

There is little to nothing within walking distance as far as provisions, restaurants, etc. You might as well be anchored out since everything is best accessed by dinghy across the channel in A-Bay.

The on-site restaurant seems nice but only open part of the week.

A disappointment for such a beautiful location and the premium price.

side note... although 50A service is advertised it is NOT available at the vast majority of the slips. Be prepared with a 30-30 to 50 split or else...
