This is very nice marina. Good sturdy docks, clean restrooms and showers. The goose poop is removed from the sidewalks and docks daily. There are two covered picnic areas. It is just a couple of blocks to downtown and the Mackinac Island ferry. There are posts along the finger piers that are a hassle.

Typical Michigan DNR facilities in a well-protected harbor. 6x6 posts dockside complicate fendering. No ice available because by the end of May they had not received their first ice delivery of the year. Short walk to an extraordinarily tourist-oriented retail area (think Sturgis) to meet your t-shirt, sunglasses, and axe-throwing needs. Shepler's Marine Services is nearby and operates a reasonably comprehensive ship store, and offers repairs.

I can only comment on the facilities as I didn't fuel or pump out. Very nice slips for a larger boat. Very good protection from a stirred up lake. Great location as you're right in the action of Mackinac City

Straits Strait harbor is a nice marina with many clean bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have pump out and fuel and are within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Great wifi, though it's not secure. We toured the Icebreaker Mackinac Museum and took a ferry to Mackinac Island. It was wonderful.

Double turn entry makes for a much calmer marina. East access fuel dock. We carried 13' of water all the way to our slip. MUCH quieter and calmer than Mackinaw City Municipal Marina where Shepler's ferries leave every half hour through the day. The Mackinaw Ice Breaker Museum acts as a windbreak for winds from the west. 5 minutes further from town but worth it in tranquility. Entire facility in great shape. Love the two outdoor pavilions with picnic tables and grills. Wi-Fi in office area only. Good cellular coverage for the big three. Clean rest rooms and laundry.. Definitely my choice for Mackinaw City.

Great marina, the best I've been at on Lake Huron. Most hard-working and accommodating marina. Gerald the Harbor Master runs a top notch harbor.
A great staff of friendly helpers and dock assistance. Very clean showers, bathrooms and docks. A 5 star marina in every respect - can't wait to come back!

Another excellent State marina. Docks are solid with good pedestals; clean restrooms/showers within easy walk; staff helpful and friendly. Only issue is constant chop from the ferries throughout the day, but that is the same for all the marinas here. No wifi. Downtown easy walk and pleasant; restaurants within a few blocks; the ferry terminal and a ships store are next door. We would definitely stay again.

Great facility - good docks and very nice showers/rest rooms. Excellent location for a day trip to Mackinac Island as it's walking distance to both of the ferry lines. Two of the better restaurants are also within walking distance. Downtown is a bit further, but nothing special.
