Mills Norrie State Par Marina Scouting Report. At mile marker 84.7 LDB you will find Mills Norrie State Park Marina which, on inspection looks like a nice find for those traveling the Hudson who like to stay in Marinas on a budget. Located above Peekskill Yacht Club and Hyde Park Marinas Mills Norrie is not as close to the Culinary Institute of America or Hyde Park but, at $1.25 per foot and a $5 charge for 30 amp electricity, it is a much more reasonable expense. On passing the marina looked to be in excellent shape and the person who immediately responded to our phone call was polite and seemed knowledgeable. The marina accommodates larger vessels with drafts over five feet on the outer docks. The person offered that it was "a little bumpy at times" but, on inspection, it looks like the marina is well protected by an island and distance from the channel. With the exception of the N/S axis, wind protection looks good. Cell reception was good as we passed.

Great stop at a NY State park. Very reasonable rate and $5 for electric. Can use this to visit the CIA or some of the mansions and FDR's home.
