7 dollars a foot. Old wood docks. Nice resort. I saw 4 dollars a foot on Waterway. 350 one night for a 43. My mistake not to confirm price. Hard pass on this one

    WG Editor Comment:

Rate of $4.00 on Waterway Guide listing is in US dollars. This is $5.47 in Canadian dollars. The marina website lists their rate at 5.50.

This marina/resort is 42 miles from Ottawa and 60 miles from Lachine, so it makes a nice stop when travelling the Ottawa River. The basin is very crowded, but there are ample dockhands. Power is both 30 amp and 60 amp at most slips and bulkheads. Wafer is good. Bathrooms are spotless. The daily rate in 2018 was 3.33 per foot, but that include 50 amp power.

The hotel is a must-see. It is a giant three story log cabin, with several large meeting rooms, an in door and out side pool, several overpriced restaurants, and a "Greqt Gatsy" type tone. Unfortunately, the place seems a bit run down, and is not what you would expect from a member of the Fairmont chain.

The restaurant food is overpriced and pedestian.. There are several restaurants in the village, a ten minute walk from the marina. Although I did not try any of these, they can't be much worse that the food--and are significantly less expensive.

Having said all of the above, stop here for one night--you won't be sorry.
