Have had a slip there since 2007. I have
whiteness many changes some good and
some not so good. Since the new corporate
ownership and new management has taken
over things have really done down hill. No
bathroom and shower available after the
office closes. ( use to have combo lock on
door for after hour use. No washer or
dryer, long gone. So any transient boaters
spending the night will need to use there
own onboard. Those of you coming back
from a day on the water or at DI no
bathroom or shower for the women and
kids. Oops did I forget to mention ice!
Having your boat launched from the racks
you got a free bag of ice. Now $3.50 for 10
lbs. 20 lbs at bucee's is .99 cents. And with
all that slips rates went up and you need a
lawyer to understand the contract. I hope all
Loggerhead marina's are not like this !

The guys at the dock were the best. Strong current and wind. They got me in safe and sound.
Stayed 2 days in Feb 2018. The restaurant was new; the old restaurant destroyed in Mathew and had just been open for 3 weeks.. Great staff. Previously per reviews the restaurant had been lacking, now first rate...
If you are lucking to get a space for a day or two do.., or if you dock elsewhere, make it to the restaurant.

We brought our boat there after the Hurricane last fall. Staff was pleasant until one day I noticed my trim tabs weren't working. I pulled up to a sand bar to check them out. Noticed one missing completely and the other just hanging by the shock. Boat was also taking on water because screws were ripped out. Contacted marina following day to ask what occurred, two days later called again and manager called me back. Stated that he noticed trim tabs loose and tried to screw in the screws but they must of fallen off later. I had just painted the bottom of boat and tabs were nice and tight and I also painted over the screws. I found 4 of the ten screws and the paint was still intact; no signs of someone trying to tighten them up. I asked why they didn't inform me when they noticed them damaged and the response was "it's not our job to notify you of any damage and you do have the option to go somewhere else" and that's what it did. Not going to stay someplace where they damage your boat and don't tell you!
