One night 10-25-19, anchored just in side G15 22 ft under keel add 5 ft to waterline. Laid out 150 ft of chain. Entered at G129 as we went south. Very popular and busy anchorage and up near fixed bridge anchorage #1 no swing room and if I dragged I did not want it to be into a bridge. This will do for one night and may turn on Nav Lights in addition to anchor light.

We came back as this is a great marina. We needed 300 gallons of diesel and we were so pleased they assigned us B15 and fueled us in our slip! Expert dock hands and all very friendly. We stayed a week and they were there any time we called. Hats off to the entire crew and Cheryl to. To the former Coasties, SEMPAR PARATUS.

10-24-19 Stopped for night. 8 other boats in here. May be more coming. Breach from Atlantic Ocean from Hurricane Dorian is marked by Green Can G65A. There is now a lovely beach with cut or breach in it and water will certainly be water coming in to the AICW at high tide. Stay close to the Green as there is not a lot of water at point to the right. There was 6.3 ft at G65A at low tide. Location of G65 LAT 34-32.45.3 N LON 077-19.02.6 W just south of Onslow Beach Swing Bridge.

This is our second stop, once in spring 2018 and now fall of 2019. No bugs or mosquitoes. Have it all to ourselves. Sort of open in most directions as shore line is very low lying but with 125 ft of chain out in 8 ft bring it on, we love the swing room. Anchored on 10-15-19 at LAT 35-09.06.5 N LON 076-35.02.03 W ENJOY this anchorage.

Spent one night 9-17-19. Calm night, great mud holding. Called MD DNR Base on VHF 16 to advise we planned to anchor off their dock toward the mouth of the creek and they advised OK. Just stay away from the white buoyed restricted area at end of airport run way.
Clear calm night, no aircraft take offs or landings. Anchored at LAT 39-18.45.5 N

2 Nights 9-20 & 9-21-19 at Calvert. “NATASHA “ in office is great to work with and always covers our docking details perfectly. South side of South Concrete Dock.
Capt Helen drove the legendary “ Mercedes Benz “ to grocery store. Their onsite restaurant has to die for chicken livers. The restaurant is small & friendly and has character. I would give 5 stars for upgraded rest rooms.

9-17-19 Just a stop for Diesel 400 Gal. Good price. Fairway for fuel dock real tight. A challenge turning around with a beam of 15.5 x 56 ft Loa x 5 ft draft in a dead end fairway at low tide. Stirred up lots of mud. Option was backing up entrance fairway back out into river with a big SeaRay moored along a -T- Head taking up half the entrance fairway after getting fuel. Dock master Stacy a real help and friendly. Slow pump 2 hours to fuel. Left just after closing time and anchored just to side of MD DNR BASE away from airport end of runway restricted area which is buoyed off.
Contacted DNR on CH16 advised of our intentions and received their blessing. Once marina finishes $3 million renovation and new fuel dock in should be a good stop with nice amenities and more stars added.

Two night stay 7-30 & 7-31-19. Anchored just out side cut entrance to Corsica River Yacht Club before RED #4. Went swimming and cleaned water line. Enjoyed watching young sail camp sailors in OPTI’S circling our boat to get their pictures taken. Fun anchorage. Plenty of creek past Red #4 (take White PVC pipe marking shoal on your Port side) to anchor well protected big homes and docks on shores.

Dock Master Mike signed us in onboard, Rates reasonable and we stayed 30 days July 2019 on T-Head of E-Piet. Our 50 ft trawler was many times and unexpectedly rolled VIOLENTLY and slammed against pilings with six 10x26 fenders out horizontal on pilings. ALL WAKES on Chop Tank River Roll right down the fairway with no wave attenuation at all from the big floating dock surrounding this marina. The crab boats going in to Cambridge Creek to by wide open throttle and start their day at 4:00 A.M. The sailboats also rocked as bad but are tied and centered in their slips: Will give Marina 3 stars due to VIOLENT rolling conditions. WI-FI not working at marina or even in town Library
