Compass cay anchorage is just south of the Exuma Land and Sea Park. Good in E to S winds, anchor in 1.5-3 meter depths depending on your draft. This anchorage is at the entrance to Rachel's Bubble Bath so expect some wakes during the day from tourist boats. Land your dinghy on the beach just south of the entrance to Rachel's. The little island to the North is private. Some surge will come to the anchorage with any northerly component through conch cut. This is an easy to manage entry/exit to the Exuma Sound and Exuma Banks. Cell service here is marginal. It's a short dinghy ride to Rocky Dundas and Cambridge. Here's some photos. We anchored up here as the morning field accross the cut was pretty full. However we really enjoyed our stay here it was easy entry with good holding. We had easy access to the beach and the snorkeling was awesome. We did have to leave one person in dingy to follow when snorkeling the aquarium as there was a strong current. We also went over to snorkel the caves and had a very good time.
