The ferry wakes didn't bother us at all. The distance to the docks is far however, about a mile and the marina charges $10 a day for dingy docking. Worth it if f you need shore access to stores and things versus the beach shore. We opted to anchor here instead of paying the $80 mooring which still gave no dock access.

You're much better off heading to the anchorage to the west of here. Really, this is an anchorage of last resort—only use this if the other places are full. Sandy bottom and your hook will come up clean, but there are better spots nearby.
