Reasonable room for 10 vessels so don't expect to show up late in the game and find a spot. 10 minutes to town if you can fly at 10 knots on the dingy.

We had several fronts come through with no dragging anchor. Ferry wakes are negligible. Danfords Marina has a dinghy dock ($10 for 24hrs) just to the left of ferry landing. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Don't miss Rogers Frigate, classic old candy store. Cell service good enough for streaming. Beach access for pets.

Great stop on the way through the area. We don't travel with pets, but I assume you can easily dink over to the beach and give them a run. A lovely spot!

Anchor close to the beach in 12-24' on the starboard side. TMobile 4 bars of 5G. Great beach to run the dog. Minor wakes from boats headed to moorings. No wakes from the Ferry!

The water is deeper than charted and the holding very good. The beach has small pebbles but it’s good for pet relief (we always pick up). A sandier beach is located closer to the entrance. It is a no wake zone honored by most boats but you will be rocked when the ferries come and go. It’s calm at night. There is a free town dock down the cut directly south with a butcher shop and a 7/11 type store for essentials.
