Beckwith Island East

Description:
The easterly anchorage is noted locally for the Beckwith Bounce, caused by wave action bending around the curve of the land. If it bothers you, set out two anchors to reduce your swing. Note this may not always be possible due to the extreme crowding here.

Beautiful sandy beach and clear water. The island is an uninhabited Indian Reserve. There is a short path across the neck of the island to the West Bay. It can get busy on calm weekends but there is always room for another boat.
