We also work from our boat during business hours so some stability was a desire but since our travel during the week days is limited to afternoon to evening we make to with what we're given. This anchorage is very inviting and getting in to New Bedford on this trip was not something we were aiming for so this review has nothing to do with Shore Access or Shopping, so my lack of rating should not be construed as a negative but only that we did not have the need. My negative on current flow is the fact that as we sit here right now, there is no wind, but we are rocking and rolling as if we were in the ocean. The long flat swells coming up into Clark Cove has us rolling around almost to the point of items sliding if your not careful. Be aware, the south is wide open and waves roll straight up into this lovely cove. So my overall 3 star has to do with comfort. We couldn't not stay aboard the boat here any longer than absolutely necessary.

It is protected from the prevailing winds, and very calm in the northwest quadrant. Very few navigational hazards, and very few power boats use this area for anything. Much easier to moor and more beautiful than New Bedford Harbor and cheaper than Padanaram. There is a major shopping area a few blocks up from the wharf and several restaurants even closer.
