The channel is marked with secondary navigation buoys leading you towards the south shore inside the shoaling that come off the southern point. At the anchorage icon there was 10 feet of water winter pool in the pocket cove with good protection from weather coming from the south and west. Continue on around the south shore honoring the green buoys with continued ten feet of water. The further in you go the more protection you will have from north winds however this is not a good anchorage for a serious blow from the northwest around to the east. Good holding in mud. Cell reception is poor for all carriers. There is no close by shore access.

Anchored on hump in front of island in 11' and enjoyed amazing sunset and sunrise views. If traveling with pets and a dinghy, you could dinghy pets to the island so they can stretch legs and relieve themselves. Only a few houses along the shoreline of the bay. You will be off the grid here...Verizon service was intermittent at best.
