Great anchorage with excellent holding on sandy bottom. Winds 9kts out of the North. Anchored 1/2 mile out in 9 feet of water.

This is a great place to wait out Northerlies. We spent 4 nights with winds blowing into the 30 knot range. Clear water with bottom of sea grass and mud over hard coral base. Don’t expect your anchor to fully bury, but we held well through the winds with wind shifts of 40-50 degrees. Expect to reset with large wind shifts. First few nights we were one of two, but as winds forecast to subside, about 5 additional boats came to stage to head NW through the channel.
