Draft: 4.5'Overall Rating:2Scenic Beauty:5We came here because of the good reviews in the Waterway Guide (the print version). However, we found a narrow (beautiful though) creek with 15 feet water. We don't understand how one could have enough scope while not to swinging into the trees. So we left. Two anchors perhaps. We didn't try that.

The holding is great and there is 360 protection from the wind. Very few boats were coming through at the end of March, but I would bet there is significantly more small boat traffic in the fall during bird hunting season because we've seen how busy the nearby boat ramp is during that time. There is some current that can make you sit sideways to the wind but we found it wide enough that it wasn't a problem.
The boat ramp on the other side of the ICW provides shore access for a dog walk or to just stretch your legs. As far as we could tell there wasn't anything other than houses nearby.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
