Stayed here 1 night in April to get out of a 15-20knot south wind. You have to tuck in between the shore by the bridge and the cable crossing sign. There is not too much room here. Maybe 3 boats could fit. Holding was good. We did not go to shore but the dock is close by. good in East through South winds.

Anchored on the Northeast corner just off the rocks abeam the end of the manatee zone sign in 2.5m. Huge storm rolled through so high winds, but anchor held with 7:1 scope, lightning hit the bridge 200m off our stern. Yikes. then cleared up . Off-season, late in the day, no wakes. Dinghied around to the S side of the North bridge to the boat ramp and tied up, walked up Sea Breeze Ave. Ate awesome pizza at Daytona Pizza and Wings (highly recommend!) and had a beer at Daytona Taproom (rude bartender, very smokey from their frier). Headed over to Caribbean Jack's for a drink...very easy to dinghy up and grab drink, great view of rocket launch and friendly service. Great stop.

The top of the twin condos have blue lights on from dusk until midnight that give a beautiful blue reflection from the water. There is a dock under the south side of the bridge where you can access Sea Breeze Ave. Sea Breeze has several small bars, including Daytona Taproom, where they have really good burgers and PBR 2 for $5 or $2 for a draft. The Oyster Pub is a nicer place, still on Sea Breeze where the chargrilled oysters are delicious.

Anchor hooked up immediately. Mud/sand mix. Anchor came up clean. But hooked some type of fabric—sailboat sails??Who knows with as many wrecks in the area. Took dingy to eastern shore to run dogs. The northern most part of the beach is deeper for dinghy landing. Parking lot there at base of bridge. Didn’t explore any shopping possibilities but there may be something there. Saw restaurant on western shore south of the bridge. Boat traffic stops later in day. Had decent protection from south winds. The lights on the twin condos were pretty and cast a blue glow on the water.
