Beautiful in calm weather. Very quiet, lots of birds. No problems getting further East at 60 degrees at G19. Plenty deep for shoal draft. Highly recommend. Could probably dinghy to shore but we didn't need to. Excellent holding.

1 10 2024 Anchored here in light west winds. Anchored North of AC marker about 400' north of G29 then straight east about 800' Used Navionics on our iPad to get best water. Only a couple of crab pots and holding seemed good in 8'. Good TV reception and two bars on our phones ATT and Verizon.

After lots of slow zone/no wake zones yesterday, we recognized darkness would be upon us long before we'd make it to our planned destination. We found the one deep spot here in Mosquito Lagoon and put down the anchor. Finally warm enough to sleep without the generator running to provide heat, so the night was silent and black. This expanse of water feels very middle of no whereish out here and the peace is wonderful.

Here in July had to ride out one of those afternoon storms that went in to the night. Anchor holding was good but 0 wind protection.
