Beautiful location for fair weather, fully exposed from NE through SSE. Shopping is scarce. A short tender ride will take you to the north captiva island store (basic groceries and such), no fuel or pump outs. There are 3 restaurants near by but all run on "island time" so hours aren't guaranteed. North Captiva is beautiful with no cars, sand roads, foot, bike and golf cart traffic save for the fire department and construction. There is a grass airstrip which will wake you up In the am as a few residents fly to work, but other than that is perfect.
