I spent two days at anchor in April 2021, as winds shifted from the East, around to the Southeast, and eventually, the South. If you're not inclined to enter into Boot Key, either due to the size of your Vessel or simply wanting to avoid the mayhem, this is an ideal spot. My Hylas 46 held firm as winds went from 5- to 10-Knots on the first day to +20-Knots on the second. It's a short dinghy ride to numerous shops, restaurants, and bars.

  • Marina Review for Pass Christian East Harbor Expansion

2020 was a problematic year along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, for Hurricanes and the Pass Christian Harbor is no exception. What this Marina lacks in amenities and sparse facilities, it more than makes up for with a friendly, helpful team of professionals. The Marina is centrally located in the historic area of Pass Christian with restaurants, bars, a hardware store, and more. Walmart is a short Uber or Lyft away. The rates are probably the most reasonable along the Gulf Coast. Call ahead to check the status of the fuel dock.

If you're looking to avoid the mayhem and shenanigans of the tourist traps in Key West, then this is your marina. Convenient to the Florida Straights, clean, well maintained, with excellent customer service. This marina is and will continue to be our "spot" when sailing through the Florida Keys.
