Marina Review for Seneca Lake Resorts at Sampson State Park

Even though the place is fantastic, the marina is a mess. Faulty power system would trip and did not allow connection to my boat. I was moved to a dock cheaper than the one booked and paid, without power, and received no compensation; they still charged $86 for one night! Gas price was a steal. $5.99 per gallon! To add insult to injury marina deckhand dropped in the water - and lost - my $150 power adaptor! Never back.

Draft: 3.0'Stayed overnight mid June 2017 sheltering from strong wind on the lake. Only boat there. Quiet, clean, power worked fine. Water available but lockmaster would need to set a hose from the lockstation. Lockmaster kind and helpful. Far from shops or restaurants.

Easy docking. Power and water worked fine. Quiet. In mid June we were the only boat there. Dockmaster kind and helpful. Docked on the east margin, a bit far from everything. West margin nicer and more lively but no restrooms. Need to walk some 500 yards to the other margin at least to register.
