Bridge comment on George Bush Boulevard Bridge

We have called upon this bridge several times at night and no response from the bridge tender. We need 11 foot clearance above the water line. At high tide we cannot fit under this bridge. We have had to turn around and head back and also plan our trips that we know the tides when we pass it so as to not get stuck on the other side.
