Friendly staff. Recently renovated boater lounge with fast wifi. Wifi also on the dock. Diesel was 5.50 which was the least expensive on this trip. Restaurant overlooks the marina and the food was tasty.

Nice smooth lock walls. Hold provided vertical ropes or loop your own rope around their vertical cables. Locking up is fairly turbulent.

The lock appears to be having mechanical issues. June 7, 2022. Going westbound and up stream the lock was pretty turbulent. Make sure you have gloves, poles and ropes to keep your boat off the rough lock walls.

Very nice park-like lock. Bathrooms and water are available. Family tented here as a location close to Fairport where we docked.

Nice town with restaurants and Dollar General within easy walking distance. Super fast wifi near the welcome center. If you can moor away from the bridge you will be happier. Bridge slated for replacement winter 2022/2023 and the new one is supposed to be quieter. 30 A power and water on pedestals.
