In spring of 2020, the city installed new floating docks (no water or electric) for transient boaters. Spent 2 days at the T head and saw 7' at low tide. Plenty of water all the way into the dock. Excellent docks which can hold probably 2-3 40'+ and another 2-3 smaller boats. Best part is they are FREE. The wharf has a park and playground. Town is well worth the visit, with restaurants open and Food Lion is about 1.5 miles up the road. Doable on a bike.
