My previous review was incorrect about the fuel price. Even though the credit card receipt showed 6% sales tax, this was part of the advertised fuel price. What I paid per gallon was the same as price on the sign.

Got to the bridge at 1645 expecting a 1700 opening after rush-hour lockout. Was told by the bridge operator that the schedule had recently changed and the lockout has been extended to 1800 hrs. Bummer. Pulled over and anchored for an hour.

Excellent marina where we've stayed several times before. Just a note that their weekly rate is now $2 / foot / day. Not the $1 listed.

Wide open anchorage for unsettled weather. Plenty of swing room. Beautiful South Carolina low-land scene with a view of the ocean from the inlet.

Enjoyed this wide-open anchorage with a scenic view of the South Carolina low-lands and an ocean inlet. I picked this anchorage because of squalls in the forecast and didn't want to get blown around in a place with limited swing room. It worked out well.
