Could not enter anchorage. The entrance to the basin is silted in with only 3' to 4' depths across whole entrance. Ran aground more times than I want to admit. Had to go to the next creek north and found a 15' hole at the entrance. Peaceful night but closer to the main channel than I really like.

By far, the best marina on the Tenn/Tom. Have stopped here several times over the past 10 years and have seen the facility go from a good older facility, to an outstanding marina with new docks, great staff, and the cleanest restrooms and laundry on the River. Keep up the great work Fred!

Have anchored here 4 times, most recent 04/15/21. Good holding in stiff mud. Stay to port of marked channel and anchor to port of the second green marker in small bay. The channel markers are off and that is the reason to hug the greens. Some wakes from fishing boats going to marina, but none after sunset. Natural setting, but no shore access. Three bars for AT&T.
