Bridge comment on George Bush Boulevard Bridge

Bridge TENDER would NOT open the bridge for our center console boat. I called the USCGA and they called the tender.....she said our "FLAGS WERE TQO TALL" to go under....total B.S. They were TRUMP flags and she didnt like it so we had to wait 28 minutes for a larger boat to come by.

  (a) Signal a drawbridge to open if the vertical clearance is sufficient to allow the vessel, after all lowerable nonstructural vessel appurtenances that are not essential to navigation have been lowered, to safely pass under the drawbridge in the closed position; or
