The entrance has depths ranging from 5-8 feet so I'm not sure I'd say it's easy. We tried to line up on 6 and 8 foot soundings as we entered the creek about an hour before low tide.

That spit is tricky. We tried to stay in the middle of the creek as we passed near the spit. Better strategy is to get closer to the western shore in 10+ depth.

We anchored pretty close to the anchoring spot in the guide and set our anchor going pretty hard in reverse it took a while to set we could hear it dragging on the shell bottom.

We are seeing 8-10 foot depth at low tide.

What a great spot for breaking up the trip to the C&D canal if you have crappy timing from Cape May. Tomorrow we will make the final 25nm to the canal.
