What a great over looked marina. Close to stores, restaurants, and brewery. Staff was great, and did a great job looking after the boat while we were gone for two weeks. Great place to stay if you're leaving the boat for a little while

Good mud although messy when pulling up. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. The channel has been dredged, 8.5 feet at the most shallow point. Dinghy access across from Veterans Marina for pets. Lake Arcadia is a quiet, peaceful spot for the night with not much in town.

After about a week of trying to find a mechanic to asses an overheating motor I was finally referred to Buckhorn Yacht The mechanic was awesome and was able to identify a problem. After rectifying the problem we were able to travel without issue. I would recommend them for maintenance on "looper" boats

The mooring field gets a little rocky, but is certainly worth the money. There is a tender that will come to pick you up which runs to 10pm. There is a sailboat race Wednesday's which the mooring field has a great view of

Marina Review for Captain Bill's Landing

Went there after Capt Bills added a few slips. Great staging location for a crossing to New York. Plenty of businesses close by for supplies, food, etc. Since the marina just added slips there are a few kinks that needed to be worked out. Capt Bill was present when we arrived and was very informative about the area. Bill asked for opinions for upgrades, and was very open to suggestions. The price was below other local marinas, and they gave discounts for BoatUS.

If you would like to see an authentic crabbing/fishing village this is your place. No frills -no electric or water
But interesting. We rode bikes around saw the village, meet friendly people, and enjoyed our over night stay.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
