The captains briefing was excellent, and very necessary, with Tim the owner and Foster Shucker. They are a wealth of knowledge. We traveled to Cape May and then all the way to Staten Island. We intended to break this trip up into two days, but Foster saw the weather ahead and contacted us and recommended that if we could, we should go all the way to Staten Island or we might be stranded for several days. Foster kept in touch with us during the day to verify his wind and wave predictions were accurate and even phoned at the end of the day for details for the last of the journey. Never have I seen such expert advice and continual following than this. Charlie, the chief mechanic, did some exploratory work for a potential problem and solved it with a solution that I thought was totally illogical. He was right. Mystery solved and turns out to be a manufacturing peculiarity. The charges for exploration of the problem were very fair. All the dock hands are great and everyone wears lots of hats. My kind of folks. Would definitely recommend this marina to anyone in the area.

The good parts are great shuttle service, nice pool and good food at bar/grill. Negatives are taxes were $35 on our slip fee of $105, or 33%. Electricity is billed $35 for 50 amp as opposed to $25 in Waterway Guide. Our reserved slip was not vacated when we arrived and we were put in temporary slip. We were told we would be compensated for the inconvenience of our slip not being available and not being next or near our buddy boat per our reservations. We were not charged a $35 resort fee, which is not shown on Waterway guide, and that was their compensation for our inconvenience. The guy that caught our lines indicated we would be compensated for the first night since the folks in our slip did not leave on time. Dock master said waiving the $35 resort fee was the best he could do. I wonder what he charged the people that departed our slip 3 hours late?

Would not return phone calls for reservation. Upon arrival, wanted $2MM insurance. Diesel was $2.01/L and slips were $3.00/ft. Not a recommended stop. Highest fuel and slip prices I've paid.

Excellent staff, very accommodating when docking, fueling or pumping out. Haul out travel lift available. No restaurant, but several within walking distance. Entrance into slips is a narrow channel, but well marked. Very enjoyable experience here for 1 month.
