This is our home port during the summers. The marina is very clean. Dock hands are always present cleaning away the bird droppings and nightly security patrols are common. The marina feels very safe even at night. Deep draft vessels should have no issues here. The inner breakwater ensures that navigating within the marina is usually easy and safe.

During summer, there are always fun events going on. Saturday mornings (during peak season) there is a snow cone cart that makes the rounds between the east and west bath houses (adult snow cones are available!) There is also a great restaurant above the marina office that overlooks the center channel. The ship store is well supplied with spirits and beverages (try the walkers cay whiskey, and the salmon run coho red wine) also offering a humidor with some very nice cigars, and of course some common boat maintenance items such as fuel stabilizer, spider spray, boat soap etc.

For slip holders they offer boat side delivery service available for most items. You can even setup a payment on account where they bill you once a week for all your transactions. This makes grabbing a quick margarita for the pool, or a pizza on the way back very convenient.

There is a laundromat with 4 washers and 4 dryers available for cleaning up. The machines accept quarters, and also have an app available for cashless pay, which allows monitoring the status of your load easy. There is a boaters lounge with a large television, library, games and microwave. There is a nice pool and hot tub with plenty of seating, tables and gas grills for cooking. The pool is county owned so sometimes it can be busy during the middle of the day, but at a certain point the public access closes and it stays open a little longer just for the boaters.

The fuel dock and pump out station are side ties, but there are many spaces to pull in. The diesel pumps can sometimes have a wait since there are only a couple, so plan ahead for fill ups and don't wait for early afternoon on a beautiful Saturday. Pump outs are free for slip holders, or a small fee for transients. Slip holders also receive a 3% discount on fuel when presenting their discount card at checkout.

Weekends at the marina are always a lot of fun. Weekend nights can sometimes be noisy pretty late, we do like to party, so be prepared for that, and join us for a drink! Weekdays are usually empty and quiet. Make sure to bring your dinghy with! There is a river that takes you past a couple yacht clubs, the downtown area, and Joeys Yardarm (great food!) It's also a nice sunset cruise to go up and down the river with a beverage, or go up river to see the old railroad swing bridge. Be careful going north after the golf course, it gets shallow!

I would highly recommend making Reefpoint a stop on your summer cruise list. It is a great place to spend time with friends and family, and a great port to enjoy after a day out on the water.
