Tied up here on the face dock outside the restaurant. The dockhands were extremely helpful on arrival as the current was fairly strong. They knew exactly the best way to tie up for the tide and current. The restaurant onsite was great. Easy to depart the next morning for the transit of the C&D canal and preparation for the Delaware Bay.

Spent several nights here as we had some air travel to work in. Great marina and the staff are outstanding. We loved the restaurant onsite and enjoyed walking around historic Portsmouth. The facilities are top notch with many of the docks being recently replaced.

Couldn't agree more with the reviews and would add we had a great experience at Lamb's Marina, staying for several days. The service provided makes it a bargain at the price point. Larry and Randy and everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and we had what we needed. We used the transportation service to go into Elizabeth City and it was also great value and made it no hardship to be further out. The sunsets are spectacular and when we departed we were straight into the Dismal Swamp with no bridges to contend with. We would highly recommend this as a stop!

We stayed here for a week and can't say enough nice things about this marina. Top-notch facilities including a pool and hot tub. Walking distance to Publix and restaurants. Watch the depth approaching the bridge. The staff here were amongst the best we have dealt with anywhere. We would definitely be back.

Stayed here for one night on a mooring ball. The weather made it a rocky night but the price was right.

We had an extended stay here over storm season and to do some work on the boat. It's an out of the way place, but quiet and the staff and extremely helpful and it's a great place during hurricane season or if you need to work on your boat.

Pricey, but facilities reflect that. Entry requires some skill and attention as the channel is narrow. Great Italian restaurant onsite.

Docks are in need of repair after storm damage. If the wind is from the south it can make for a tricky entry and dockage and depending on your slip you can be exposed to wakes and waves.

We had two extended stays here. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating. Great laundry facilities, within walking distance to Publix, restaurants and shops. The river is busy on the weekends, but it is more laid back during the week. Great place to watch the super yachts under tow as they pass by.
