We had a quiet overnight stay here. The floating metal dock is well maintained (but the local bird population does not help keep it clean) and the cleats provided good tie up options. The is a light east bound current and about 9 feet of depth at the dock. The dock is about 80 feet long. First come, first serve, no reservations, it is not necessary to inform the park office of your stay.
A few seaplanes landed nearby, locals used the boat ramp for small crafts, a few people fished off the short pier, and the sheriff patrol car rolled through the parking lot regularly. The scenic trail goes for miles along the canal. Overall, a safe and comfortable stay.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
