Southern Eleuthera, BAH
This is about as far south as civilization goes on Eleuthera. There is nowhere to anchor but there are two marinas to meet your needs. This is serious angler and diving territory. There is not much here in the way of settlements, amenities or population. Most of the people who live and visit here would like to keep it that way. This doesn’t mean that it is not a wonderful place to end your magical water tour of Eleuthera. The beaches, reefs, fishing and facilities at the two marinas are extraordinary.

Rock Sound is a diverse settlement, rapidly becoming the next "Staniel Cay" or "George Town" of Eleuthera. With fast ferry service now available from Nassau, this community has been spruced up and is a pleasure to visit and stay awhile.
The dinghy dock at Frigate's Bar & Grill is the preferred cruiser landing here. From there, it's an easy walk to the supermarket and hardware store. There's a brand-new government dock, and provisions and restaurants are all conveniently grouped around the somewhat protected harbor.
