We only stayed here for one night, but we were really impressed. It was a little tricky to navigate at first, but the staff was super friendly & helpful. We did not use the pool but sure would have loved to as it seemed really nice. There is a little coffee shop/store right on the grounds which was helpful. Docks are maintained well!

Excellent marina with nice floating docks, friendly and professional staff from the receptionist who first takes your call to book the reservation to the dock hands who grab your lines on the dock. It was a little confusing finding our dock space, but the receptionist was kind and patient after several calls to clarify location. The pool was a bit cloudy and in need of a shock treatment but other than that our two-day stay was very nice. Thanks for everything.

The docks are well maintained, there are 6 washers and 6 dryers, ice can be delivered to your boat, every dock has a security gate operated with a card handed out upon sign in, the WiFi works, and there are places to walk your pet. The laundry machines do not take coins. You must download an app for your smartphone and deposit money in your account. The problem with that is the inability to specify the exact amount you need to load, leaving leftover funds in your account by having to choose one of the default load numbers. There is a refund process but it would be better to just specify what's needed at the start.

There are three marinas next to each other; we have stayed at Las Olas, Hall of Fame and now Bahia Mar. Bahia Mar is the nicest with nice floating docks (we were at fixed docks at the other marinas). Great dockhands; great location. Large clean pool with plenty of lounge chairs and nice pool bar. Walkway that goes over the street to go to beach.

We’re frequent flyers here, one of our favorite stops on the way anywhere. Staff is super-friendly and helpful at the docks, fueling and check-in/out. Breakfast tip: the Deli (near B basin) makes the best-tasting, most humongous egg sandwiches we’ve ever had. Enjoy them at the lovely beach across the street or on your boat to get your day started with a smile.

Price is about $4 foot. No pump out. Directions to find dock confusing. No trash cans. Bathrooms and showers in hotel. Dock hands very good. Nice place but catering to rich boaters that don’t need anything off their boat. Definitely not a cruiser friendly marina. Very disappointing considering the cost. Only reason we chose it was only marina that could get 2 boats traveling together in.

    Marina Response:

Hi Dwight, we are really sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your time at our marina. It is a goal of Suntex to make sure every customer has the best experience. However, we did want to clarify a few things. Due to your late arrival we could not do your pump out yesterday, but it was done first thing this morning. There are white fiberglass trash cans in front of every slip. The showers are conveniently located in the pool building.

As a sign of our dedication to customer service, we did credit back the charge for power before you departed, and have now also credited you back for the pump out to make up for any inconvenience we caused. We hope that you will visit us again, and allow us the opportunity to make your stay an enjoyable one.

    Thanks!

Great place with helpful staff. They fixed pompous which is now at the slip. Docks in good shape and location can't be beat decent walk to the ocean and many restaurants. You'll need a ride to reprovision. A little pricey but goes with the location.

Fantastic location on the ocean. Staff friendly and professional. Walk to Beach, Boardwalk, restaurants. Great sunrise, sunsets. Only negatives are dirty waters being downtown and resort in need of a major facelift.
