Fixed docks in very poor repair and missing tie points. Recommend if nothing else available. A shame because location is great!

The winds, unfortunately, would build each afternoon out of the East and this would create a lot of chop in the mooring field. Not a big deal just makes for a wet dinghy ride back to the boat. The laundry room is very nice. The harbormaster, Daniel was very responsive to an issue I had with a washer.
Showers are pretty nice and definitely serve the purpose. I'm happy to see that there have been more restaurants that have opened in the area and are within walking distance. I even had some grocery items delivered by Walmart to the mooring field park. Definitely a convenient stop.

Mooring balls are fairly new and maintained annually. Martin County parks on-site staff is great. No protection from east or south winds or wave makes this very rocky (2 or 3 foot chop) half the time. Storm damage from two months ago not repaired, meaning there is no dinghy dock, shorewater, or diver access. Secured, renter-only bathrooms and laundromat work and are cleaned regularly. walking half-mile to shopping (Publix), liquor, and restaurants. Waterfront park on shore allows good pet walking, some parking and Uber pickup. Poor wifi access in mooring field.

Arranging a ball was no problem, good communication through online form/email with harbor master. Balls and pennants are in good shape. Field is almost completely built out. Enter from the south. Dinghy dock has less than 100 feet of usable space on the protected (north) side. Several live abords in the field who 'commute' daily means things get crowed. Shower and laundry facilities are in the public park area, but only accessible with field provided code. Dinghy dock has a coded gate. The field is very open to the prevailing easterly (and in spring/summer) southerly winds - long fetch can make things bumpy.

This is a tricky one because the amenities are really fantastic, and the location can't be beat. Problem is when the tide changes and the wind is in opposition your hull will be SMACKING against the plastic mooring ball ALL NIGHT LONG. Don't ask me how I know. So overall, if I were to do it again, I would save my topside paint and find somewhere to just drop the hook so I could actually get some sleep (which is the whole point isn't it?).

Go to Jensenbeachmooringfield.com to reserve a M Ball before mooring. 1 star for online frustration. The place is beautiful

The total fee including a "transaction" fee of $3.50 and all taxes total $32.26. The anchorage area is wide open to the south and west. The dinghy dock is well maintained as are the laundry and showers which are protected by coded gates (codes changed often).

Note that If you stay 14 days or longer, the insurance change below is required.
"If you plan on staying with us 14 days or more you will need to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) with liability coverage amounts $300,000.00 40ft and under and $500,000.00 41ft to 50ft. The COI must include proof that Martin County has been added as additional insured."

Just spent one night here and didn't go ashore or use facilities. Booked online ahead of time and when we got there at 3 pm another boat was all ready on the ball we had reserved. We found another close by and tied up, luckily no other boat came and said they had reserved it. This was on a weekend when there is no staff present. There were motorcycles revving, racing, doing burn outs for hours in the parking lot and over and back on the bridge that night. After a while I asked my wife if there were no police in the area at all...... worst sleepless night in 2 weeks on the boat. Probably a great place if there was 24/7 oversight.... hard to run a business just by a computer....

    Business Response:
Hi guys, We are a one man operation and when I am off I have to rely on cell phones and computers which as you know I don't have access 24/7. I do apologize for that. Until we can staff the mooring field 24/7 when I am off is going to be a weak link. This is our second season so things are slowly coming up to speed. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm is the office hours which you will get a phone answered or a email replied to you promptly. As the harbor master I spend my mornings at the mooring field cleaning the restrooms, the dinghy dock, and working on the mooring buoys as they need cleaning. Once trash is removed and the cleaning is finished, I spend the rest of my day at my office a couple miles off site to answer phones, emails and extend reservations. Unfortunately we still have guest that don't quite understand we are a reservation platform mooring field. We do not operate first come first serve. This sometimes brings confusion to our other guest if someone just grabs a buoy that might be open. As far as the causeway noise is concerned, it is a public park and with that all types of people frequent it. The sheriff has been contacted on the issue of loud noise on the weekends with the teenagers. This has been escalated to the Sheriff Chief. Hopefully the Sheriff department will be more responsive going forward. I do apologize for the bad experience but your feedback is important and noted. Thank you, Mike Huskin Harbormaster

A great bargain for a stop on the ICW. Mooring field is new and in great shape, town is accessible with groceries, mail box Etc and everything you're likely to need. Good restaurants and a fun town nearby. Only drawback for us was that the mooring field can get rough in south winds - and makes for a challenging dinghy ride to/from their docks.

This is a new facility, less than a year old. Secure floating dockage for landing your dinghy, secure bathhouse with clean private bathrooms, and brand new laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. Walk to Publix and several restaurants, about a mile away. Plenty of room in the causeway park to walk your dog. Mooring balls well spaced and maintained. Great protection in a North and West wind. Bumpy in a South or East wind.

    Business Response:
Hi Lisa, Thank you for the feedback! We hope you had a wonderful time here in Jensen Beach and we hope to see you again!

Really important to know… they have automated their reservation system. You will get one email confirming your reservation but then Look for a second welcome email (in your junk mail possibly) that gives you all the information about gate codes, etc to access their services. The email will also tell you which mooring to pick up.

This is a very accessible mooring field especially with our quick stop on our way up the intracoastal. Mike, the dock master was very friendly and helpful. Although we did not use the amenities, they do have some. Apparently, insurance requirements have changed and they are back in the "normal" range.
